October 29, 2025--Sacred Heart Field Hockey won their 13th state title after a 3-1 win over Christian Academy Louisville (CAL) in a very rainy 2025 KHSAA State Championship. This talented team, ranked #1 in the state and among the top 5 in the nation all season, finished the season 28-0-1, which is the first undefeated season in Kentucky history since field hockey was sanctioned by the KHSAA in 2014.
Sacred Heart previously won state titles in 1983, 1986, 2001, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2015, 2018, 2020, and 2021.
SHA’s coach Eleanor Mitchell was named Kentucky’s 2025 Field Hockey Coach of the Year, and SHA senior AC Kosek was named 2025 Kentucky Miss Field Hockey and the Morgan & Morgan state tournament MVP. Teammates Raygan Petter and Caroline Valenti were named to the All-Tournament Team.
This state championship is Sacred Heart's 116th state title in program history.

Sacred Heart Academy is also ranked the #1 Best Catholic High School and Best All-Girls High School in Kentucky.
