Every student at SHA takes at least one visual arts class but can choose to take art all four years. The art wing is equipped with everything students need to expand their talents and create masterpieces. It includes three full-time art teachers, three mixed media studio art rooms, two ceramic studios, two Skutt kilns and 11 pottery wheels, a photography studio with seven dark room enlargers, backdrops and studio lighting for photography shoots, six Bernia sewing machines for jewelry and accessory design, an art gallery and new media exhibit space and an art book and periodical collection.

Students can commit to our four-year IB Art Program or experience a variety of art electives including jewelry design, painting, photography, ceramics and sculpture.

Graphic design, computer animation, video production, and digital photography classes are available through SHA's Business, Communications, and Technology department.
