SHA was named Best School for Athletes in Kentucky among coed, all-boys, and all-girls schools. It is an honor to be ranked #1 in Kentucky and #13 in the nation, especially in a year when we celebrate 50 years of Title IX opening doors for female athletes. From Sacred Heart’s first state championship in 1963 to the five achieved last school year alone, our student-athletes have demonstrated grit, perseverance, teamwork, sportsmanship, and tradition – they are true Valkyries – strong women of great faith.
To date, Sacred Heart has won 103 state championships. Read more about Sacred Heart's athletic program here.
