Choosing your high school will be a fun journey, and we are here to help YOU!
We are so excited to have you visit our campus, where you can connect with students, teachers, and coaches and learn all about SHA.
Jump right in! At Sacred Heart Academy, we unconditionally love and support every student with HEART; create a reverent, welcoming HOME where each person is valued; foster SISTERHOOD and resilient leadership that prioritizes growth over perfection; and ensure students BELONG and are empowered to use their voices to change the world.
8th graders can spend the day with one of our students and meet her teachers and classmates, experience SHA’s unique classes and curriculum, tour our beautiful campus, and enjoy lunch with us! We would love to pair your daughter with a Sacred Heart student who shares her interests, or you may request a host. We can't wait for you to become part of the heart. Click here to register!
Shadowing begins September 14th for current 8th-grade students and will continue throughout the school year. We recommend 8th graders shadow before the placement test on December 12th.
Seventh graders may shadow starting in January 2027.
Shadow visits run Monday–Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. To receive an excused absence from your grade school, please obtain a Shadowing Documentation Form from your school office two weeks before your shadow visit.

Our Signature Admissions Event (A Must for Every Family!)
If you attend just one admissions event this fall, make it High School Preview Night. This is the most comprehensive opportunity to explore everything Sacred Heart has to offer. Parents and daughters begin the evening together before splitting into customized experiences. Parents choose informative breakout sessions on academics, college preparation, student support, leadership, athletics, arts, and more, while students enjoy engaging activities led by current Valkyries. You'll leave with a clear understanding of the admissions timeline, what makes SHA different, and why so many families choose Sacred Heart.

You'll get an insider's look at the road to high school, including the admissions timeline, HSPT tips, and what to expect throughout the year. Grab a friend and join us for an afternoon of laughter, games, and fun with friends! Whether your daughter is brand new to Mahjong or already loves to play, she’ll learn the basics, try her hand at strategy, and enjoy friendly competition in a welcoming, no-pressure environment.

Experience Sacred Heart in action during our biggest event of the year! Tour campus with our students, explore classrooms, meet faculty, enjoy live performances, and discover the countless opportunities available through academics, athletics, arts, clubs, leadership, faith, and service. It's a fun-filled afternoon that brings the SHA experience to life!

Kick-off the festive holiday season with your daughter at SHA! Spend the morning with us and fill your HEARTS with holiday spirit. Enjoy crafts, cookies, and precious time with your daughter.
December 12 | 9:00 a.m.
The HSPT is a helpful deadline for deciding on high school. Students test at the school they plan to attend, especially if they want to be considered for merit scholarships. SHA uses HSPT results and your daughter's grade-school academic record to place her in classes where she'll be challenged but not overwhelmed.
September 22 & 24, October 6 & 27, November 3 & 10 | 8:30–9:30 a.m.
Join our president, principal, and enrollment team for a relaxed morning conversation designed just for parents. Ask questions, learn about the admissions process, and enjoy a student-led campus tour while discovering what sets Sacred Heart a part.
