Spring College Signing Day Adds 6 More Sacred Heart Academy Seniors

April 2026---Congratulations to six more seniors from the Sacred Heart Academy Class of 2026 who signed national letters of intent to continue their athletic careers in college. These seniors representing five different sports join the 15 other seniors who signed in November 2025, bringing the total number of committed college athletes from the SHA Class of 2026 to twenty-one student-athletes. Today's athletes have won a combined 10 team state championships, 8 district championships, and 15 regional championships during their SHA careers, and our spring sport athletes are still in the hunt.

SHA’s athletic program, led by Donna Moir, is nationally ranked as the #1 Best All-Girls High School for Athletes in Kentucky and the #35 ranked Best High School for Athletes in America by Niche, out of 21,469 high schools. MaxPreps recently ranked SHA #22 in their list of best high schools for athletes. In the past four graduating classes, 97 SHA athletes have signed to continue their athletic careers in college.
Sacred Heart Academy is also ranked the #1 Best Catholic High School and Best All-Girls High School in Kentucky.
 
SHA has won more state championships than any other girls school in the state of Kentucky--118 and counting. Sacred Heart field hockey (first undefeated team to win the state championship since KHSAA sanctioned the sport in 2014) and soccer (won the 9th state title for the program--a Kentucky state record) won historic state championships in Fall 2025, and the swim and dive team won their 14th consecutive title in February 2026.
