Senior Isabella Yochum was also one of only five students in the region nominated for the national American Visions award, chosen for her piece titled "Portrait of a Family." The American Visions nomination, awarded to artwork that conveys an original, authentic vision, demonstrates how Isabella and all of our IB Art students are encouraged to create artwork that truly showcases their personal voice.
The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards are presented by the Alliance for Young Artists & Writers. The Alliance is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to identify students with exceptional artistic and literary talent and present their remarkable work to the world through the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.
