Eighteen SHA students accepted into prestigious Governor's School Programs

Amy Nall, interim principal of Sacred Heart Academy, has announced that the following eleven rising seniors have been accepted into the 2021 Governor's Scholars Program: Ann Elizabeth Badaracco, Ella Bean, Elizabeth George, Kathryn Harmon, Carly Henry, Grace Jarboe, Abigail Jester, Claire Klein, Lauren Pappalardo, Caroline Rogers, and Hollings Ruml. The mission of the summer residential program for outstanding rising seniors is to enhance Kentucky's next generation of civic and economic leaders.

Ms. Nall announced that Junior Alexis McLaughlin was selected to attend the 2021 Governor's School for the Arts (musical theatre). GSA provides three weeks of hands-on-arts opportunities for talented rising junior and senior high school students.

Finally, Ms. Nall congratulates two sophomores, Sarah Bogel and Emma Rose Farber, who join four juniors: Joy Gorman, Ally Harris, Jill Heffernan, and Haylen Wehr in acceptance into the 2021 Governor’s School for Entrepreneurs. GSE is a unique entrepreneurship program that places a strong emphasis on innovation and design as elements of creating a sustainable business model.
