This Ballet is performed by the SHSA Dance Ensemble with dancers from the entire Louisville community. This holiday tradition retells the story of E.T.A. Hoffman’s “The Nutcracker and the Mouse King.” Clara, the Nutcracker Prince, and the Mouse King enter the realm of the Sugar Plum Fairy with all the treats one can enjoy!
The sensory friendly performance will be a bit shorter and scenes that could be especially triggering to those with sensory processing needs will be omitted. The house lights will stay on and guests will be encouraged to move around and make noise as needed.
